About the campaign
Please tell industry super funds to protect Ausgrid workers
More than 2,000 Ausgrid workers have been negotiating for a fair EBA since October 2020.
Employee demands are moderate: job security, fair pay and no forced shift work. Most of all, workers want respect.
But Ausgrid, which is owned by industry superannuation funds Australian Super and IFM, launched an ongoing attack on rights and conditions.
2,500 jobs axed. Wages frozen. Parents to be forced onto shift work.
Workers have asked the industry super funds that own Ausgrid to intervene. The company’s CEO Richard Gross needs to be told to stop attacking workers.
But IFM and Australian Super have refused to act.
Now Ausgrid employees are seeking public support to pressure these super funds to protect workers.
